History

Territory Construction Association (TCA) was founded in the late 60’s as an organisation made up of a group of small committees within the building industry to form the Master Builders Association of the Northern Territory.

Originally formed to represent the interests of builders, the TCA of today has a membership base that is representative of all sectors of the building and construction industry, hence the change to the Territory Construction Association.

Still affiliated with the MBA, TCA is a member owned association encompassing over 250 members representing all sectors of the building and construction industry and other professional service, supply and manufacturing businesses. We are also affiliated with the Master Plumbers Association, National Electrical and Communication Association, Crane Industry Association and the Australian Glass and Glaziers Association.

TCA provides representation, service and advice to members and the industry in key areas such as industrial relations, occupational health and safety, training, business development, traineeships, government regulations and legislation.

TCA represents its members on numerous industry and government bodies and is recognised as a powerful lobby group.
